Löyly Joins Forces for Guinness World Record Attempt

In a display of community support and wellness advocacy, Löyly has teamed up with a Perth-based mental health organisation, One Life Live It, aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ice bath.

The event, set to take place at Leighton Beach on Saturday 20 January, promises to be a ground-breaking initiative to promote mental health awareness and resilience while raising funds for Beyond Blue.

Löyly owner, Callum Potton said that Löyly has a strong commitment to wellbeing through the provision of mobile sauna and ice bath experiences.

“We are thrilled to be able to play a significant role as one of the key sponsors for the record-breaking attempt.”

“One Life Live It shares our values relating to positive mental health and wellbeing. We are passionate about coming together and aligning ourselves with like-minded causes to have a greater impact in our communities”, Callum said.

One Life Live It is driven by a mission to raise awareness about the benefits of cold exposure on mental wellbeing and aims to assemble a record-breaking number of hundreds of individuals to submerge themselves simultaneously in the ice baths.

Löyly is taking this opportunity to actively support the cause by sponsoring an ice bath and entering a team of 12 participants.

Löyly’s involvement underscores its dedication to promoting wellbeing beyond traditional boundaries, encouraging individuals to explore diverse avenues for mental and physical resilience.

The Guinness World Record attempt for the world's largest ice bath is a testament to the growing recognition of alternative wellness practices.

This world first event is sold out with a waitlist. Join the festivities from 8:30am with free breathwork and yoga sessions. The record attempt will take place at 12pm.
