Löyly heats up the 2024 HSBC PERTH SVNS

In a groundbreaking move, Löyly has ushered in a new era by extending its sauna and ice bath services to elite athletes and world-class sporting events.

Since launching in April 2023 as Perth's pioneering mobile barrel sauna, Löyly has evolved into a premier provider of mobile ice bath services, solidifying its status as one of Western Australia's most sought-after wellness experiences.

Now, the wellness business is breaking new ground by supporting a distinct niche in world-class sporting events, empowering athletes and sporting occasions with total control over their relaxation and recovery routines when in Perth.

Callum Potton, the owner of Löyly, expressed enthusiasm about this new chapter, emphasising the brand's commitment to enhancing athlete recovery by delivering immediate access to recovery and support directly at sporting events, eliminating the need for athletes to travel to external facilities.

"We're beyond excited to enter this new era of Löyly, offering a fully insured, mobile solution with a minimal environmental footprint. Our ability to set up saunas and ice baths at various locations across WA, including training facilities, stadiums, hotels or any designated venue, is truly unique," Potton said.

Löyly, having collaborated with prominent figures in Perth's fitness, wellness and sports scene, boasts an eight-seater mobile sauna and temperature-controlled, filtered ice baths. The comprehensive package includes setup, pack down, and full maintenance and cleaning throughout the rental period.

Löyly recently played a crucial role in supporting the 2024 HSBC PERTH SVNS world rugby tournament. Its barrel sauna was elevated to new heights through a crane lift to a level three balcony at Rendezvous Perth Hotel Scarborough. Partnering with Fifth Element Ice Baths, Löyly delivered a number of ice baths for the tournament.

Kayla Bittman from Rugby Australia commended Löyly's contributions during the 2024 HSBC PERTH SVNS, highlighting the unparalleled recovery setup provided to all 24 International Rugby Sevens Teams and 35 International Rugby Match Officials.

"The recovery setup was such a hit with everyone involved in the tournament that we will definitely be working with Löyly again in the future, and we know this has started a lifelong partnership," Bittman said.

"I would not hesitate to recommend Löyly to anyone looking for recovery stations for their high-performance sporting teams."
